The reasons for a family to homeschool are as varied as there are families who do homeschool. Why are you considering homeschooling? Educational concerns with the current school system? How comfortable are you with correcting your child? How comfortable is your child with you correcting them? Do you feel your child is comfortable telling you that they just dont get it? As anyone learns something new correction and feedback is constant not just the occasional correcting through the course of the day.

Finally, how does your child feel about homeschooling? Remember, this is about them and their education. If they arent excited about the opportunity, then homeschooling the family may not be right at this time.
