The teacher can coordinate the lesson plan to fit the learning ability and the interest of the child. In the home school classroom, there are no administrative duties the teacher must spend working on so the time is spent on education. And with the much better teacher to student ratio that is a part of homeschooling, the learning generally occurs at a quicker yet more thorough pace.
